By accessing or using this website, or by using any of Ranoxy Clinic's ("we", "us", "our") virtual or in-person Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or the Services. If you are arranging care for a legal dependent, you agree to these Terms on their behalf.

These Terms apply to online, phone and in-person Services. Participating in a specific program may involve additional consent forms, which are incorporated by reference and take precedence over these Terms where they conflict.

Healthcare providers

Clinicians provide care through the Services as independent practitioners, licensed in Ontario. Ranoxy Clinic itself does not practise medicine.

Our services

The site allows registered users to access services from licensed professionals in Ontario, including consultations, telehealth visits, medical advice, laboratory requisitions, and prescriptions where clinically appropriate.

Services may involve interactive audio, video, messaging, and the electronic transmission of medical records.

Emergency medical care

In an emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room. Ranoxy Clinic's Services are not a substitute for emergency care.

Scope of services

Services are provided by licensed clinicians and do not replace a primary care provider. We recommend telling your primary care provider about any care you receive through Ranoxy Clinic. An initial consultation does not guarantee a continuing treatment relationship.

Payment

Fees for Services are set out where you order or book them. What is refundable, and under what circumstances, is set out in our Refund Policy rather than restated here, so the two documents cannot say different things. We are not responsible for charges from third-party pharmacies or laboratories.

Your account

If you create an account, you agree to:

• Keep your contact information current.
• Keep your account and password confidential.
• Take responsibility for activity on your account.
• Tell us promptly about any unauthorized use.

Termination

You may stop using the Services and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for a violation of these Terms or unauthorized use.

Limitation of liability

Use of this website is at your own risk. The site is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, Ranoxy Clinic is not liable for damages arising from your use of the site or the Services.

Ownership

Content on this site is owned by or licensed to Ranoxy Clinic and protected by copyright. You may not reproduce or use it commercially without our written consent.

Lawful use

You agree to use the site and Services only for lawful purposes. Harmful, threatening or defamatory conduct is not permitted.

Communications

By using the Services you consent to receive communications from us, including email and, where you provide a phone number, SMS. These communications may not be encrypted, so avoid including sensitive health details in a reply text message.

Electronic consent

You agree that consent forms and other agreements related to your care may be signed electronically, and that electronic notices satisfy any legal requirement for notice in writing.

Disclaimer

The site and Services are provided "as is". We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation and are not responsible for errors in general information provided on the site. Nothing on this site is medical advice; eligibility for any treatment is determined by a licensed clinician after an assessment.

Age requirement

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Services.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and Canada. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of Ontario, or, where the parties agree, by private arbitration in Ontario.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continuing to use the site or Services after a change means you accept the update. The date this page was last updated appears at the top.
